Sunroom Record Cabinet

A record cabinet inspired by the “Jazz Kissa” or Jazz Cafe’s of mid-century Japan. More currently referred to as a Japanese Listening Bar, its a a place with a focus on the audio experience. The vibe is one of relaxation, and just as importantly, its a place where you’ll listen to an album the whole way through (with a good drink in your hand).

The record cabinet pays homage to the lines and construction of traditional Japanese shoji screens and to the soft curved corners of vintage speakers. The two front doors both slide to access the receiver, and the top door slides open to easily access the record player.
